The 2024-25 FAFSA is coming soon!

As the Fall 2023 semester gets underway the opening of the 2024-25 FAFSA is fast approaching! With the 2024-25 FAFSA it's receiving some changes from the FAFSA Simplification Act. Alongside this, the upcoming FAFSA will be available later than most students will be used to, opening in December 2023 (exact date pending). The main change for students and parents is that the 2024-25 FAFSA is shorter and more user-friendly than ever, at less than half the questions. Please remember that in order to process the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students must be admitted to UT Tyler, have a valid Social Security number on file with the Office of Admissions and be a degree seeking student at UT Tyler. Non-degree seeking students are NOT eligible for financial aid.
